@CBoTheEggman No shit Sherlock. You declared prices high, because there was no vote by Congress. I showed prices were higher when Congress did vote. What part of the statement was difficult for you to understand, dumbass.

Of course, you're more educated, my engineering degree is useless. I don't own a large business that operates throughout the entire Southeast of the US and is growing, I just go there daily to say hi, pretend how it could be. I'll continue to do me, because I found a way to get by. Thanks for the encouragement!

@isk84u2nv That's funny since I'm like better educated than you and I own my own business. But you do you.

here’s more education: 1. It includes 2020 when prices went down to $2.19 per gallon when no one was driving due to covid 2. It includes the fact that Trump has increased the Nation debt by $10 TRILLION to over $39 TRILLION. He’s the biggest spender in presidential history
Paul A. Szypula 🇺🇸@Bubblebathgirl

Gasoline price averages under Obama, Trump, and Biden. For Obama and Trump, it’s both of their respective terms. Even with recent increases during the Iran conflict, Trump still beats Obama and obliterates Biden. So when Democrats talk about gas prices, give them an education.

@maziehirono Trump has been in government for 5 years, you note spending and costs. You have been in Congress for 13 years, passing spending bill after bill. Your spending has devalued our hard-earned dollar value? What have you done to lower costs and stop spending, so our income has value?

We're not even 2 years into Trump's term, and over half the country has growing anxiety about paying their bills. What happened to lowering costs? What happened to America First? This regime has done nothing but lie, cheat, and steal from the American people.
CBS News@CBSNews

A record 55% of Americans say their financial situation is worsening, with many expressing anxiety about covering monthly bills and making minimum credit card payments, according to a new Gallup poll. cbsn.ws/4cTXrdt

Money was not as mobile then as today with the risk of losing revenue. There were far fewer high earners then and a proliferation of massive tax loopholes and deductions that existed then that do not exist today. There's little difference in the rate paid then versus today; the rules of application are simply different.

It was sarcasm, because the testimony of Carroll's friends was hearsay and hearsay is out-of-court statements, generally inadmissible, but was accepted. It was a rigged court case, starting with the changing of state law to allow prosecution, to what the judge decided was allowed to be admissible in court. The denial of appeal was also bs, clearly the fines are excessive, in a case that waited decades to attempt prosecution. I hope he takes it to the Supreme Court, and they grant him the means for injustice. The entire process was an egregious abuse of the state legal system.

@a_pilgrimm @AP Trump has nothing to do with it, other than to show that choices were biased versus based on data. Good luck with that TDS.

@isk84u2nv @AP Thank you 🙏 This is the reason why the fed needs to be independent. It shouldn’t be making decisions based on what a real estate developer would do or a lawyer or a social media influencer. They need a larger sample of datasets. Not just a few.

Jerome Powell said he plans to remain on the board of the Federal Reserve after his term as chair ends next month ‘for a period of time, to be determined,’ saying the ‘unprecedented' legal attacks by the Trump administration have put the independence of the Fed at risk.

That's like saying one doesn't need a raise today, because a person doing the job 15 years ago did it much cheaper, unwarranted. Of course, it was cheaper, because the market value, inflation and interest rates were different then. 🤦🏻‍♂️ Thanks for playing, like talking to an ignorant child.

@isk84u2nv The national debt has gone up by $10 Trillion during his presidency. Even if you discount $2.7 Trillion, he’s at more than $7 trillion in less than 6 years. You can try to defend it if you want, but he’s a spending disaster with being able to raise the tax base to compensate

Great POV, following the lead of a man who has never had a job outside the government and made millions selling the idea of an alternative failing government system versus our system for his own personal financial gain, while voting for decades on tax increases and never solved any social issues in Congress, because that would hurt his personal business model. The debt and the value of the dollar are where they are today, because of guys like this in Congress.

Ukraine wars with zero benefit to USA economy are better than the Middle East with threats of death to America and attacks? Fuel and food were higher under Biden. Fuel future will drop greatly when the Iran war settles due to the UAE leaving OPEC and Iran losing control of oil pricing. The rich making money during large market growth is rich having means, nothing more. Your claim of son's gifting is TDS. There is no proof, and they've always been making rich market/real estate gains, but going back to Hunter and getting millions in Ukraine was legit? He cannot even get a job today. Epstein is a waste of time. I don't care about Trump outside of policy, but he has pushed for the release, but Biden and Obama-appointed judges are the ones blocking release. He doesn't seem to have anything to hide and liberals would be sure to get it out if so. Thus, I will focus on policy as that is the part that affects my life.

@isk84u2nv Okay, and you vote for more Middle East wars, higher food and fuel prices, the president's sons grifting the government, and the Epstein files staying buried forever.

You're right, I don't understand payroll taxes as a LARGE business owner. Members of an LLC, S-Corp or Sole Proprietorship pay income tax and self-employment taxes on earnings, period. To say they don't pay taxes on their income is ignorant as hell. A person is a shareholder in a C-Corp.

@isk84u2nv You clearly don't understand payroll taxes. Raising or removing the cap would not increase payroll tax rates, and depending on how it is done, could even reduce those rates. Small business owners don't pay payroll tax on their income, they contribute through self-employment tax.

So do you want to raise payroll taxes as well? You realize businesses get breaks to bring in payroll tax revenue. You raise their costs and the business moves and the locals lose their jobs. What don't you understand? You seem to think the government can punish a business for its gain when the government is the one who needs the business and employee tax revenue. You want to hurt small local businesses with fewer options to move, knock yourself out, but local home values will depreciate to nothing with losses, hurting locals more. People have to use common sense.

@isk84u2nv The bottom 50% fallacy is derived by looking at federal income tax only, ignoring capped payroll taxes. The notion that reducing the taxes of the very rich will cause them to put the excess back into the economy instead of hoard it is belied by the rise of billionaires.

@Headqarters_69 @YallNuckingFuts @michaelpfreeman Congress gave the EPA the power to do so "based on statutory laws passed by Congress." SCOTUS said the EPA cannot create regulations, because only Congress can create legislation, so unconstitutional. If you read the ruling, how did you misinterpret that?
