@asdmarch Too many talents missing once school finishes. The sports via school pathway is no more relevant. Club Hockey should be the way. More sustainable. More talent retention

It was coming. Anyway, Malaysian hockey needs more quality players, the entire ecosystem needs a change. Changing coaches for the same bunch of players will not change anything.

@ManinderjitMike We also have issues with Talent Retention. Many talents gone missing once they leave school. If lucky, National Junior setup, MHL teams. But really few. Correct ecosystem should be to adopt Club Culture. Where players remain longer structurally.

OMG Again Coaches are replaced! Almost more than 24 Coaches used either as Coaches or specialists since 9yrs We don't have "international quality players/team" due to the poor ecosystem/pathway of production of players in all levels It's like "tikus membaiki labu" situation

@lfc1an Nah… Same thing if you allow A to host B & C, then to travel and play D & E. Maybe prior to the tournament, a Final Four host is decided. Whoever qualifies and it happens is number one in the hosting job bid, hosts it.

@iskandarashdan It will be peak uni life imo, especially having proper rivalries if it were to be implemented. Opening up avenues for the need for analysis and data which can lead to a data centric nation.

Do you think a draft system like in the MLS for athletes from Liga IPT can be implemented in Malaysia? Basically I believe it will be a healthy competition for athletes and universities alike to push forward sports and education. Would love to hear your thoughts.

@lfc1an It’s simply too many matches in a packed international calendar. Why would a Final Four is unfair considering other tournaments being hosted by one nation?
