Today, the Mufti of Rwanda, Sheikh Sindayigaya Mussa, paid a courtesy call to Professor Mamoun Homeida, the founder of the state-of-the-art University of Medical Sciences and Technology operating in Rwanda. The leadership of the #RMC highlighted some of the achievements made in implementing last year’s Multaqaa resolutions, including: - 63,000 new Muslims, Training of new Imams to lead mosques that had previously been closed, Housing support for the underprivileged, Educational support for 547 students in various fields, including universities and High-schools, Infrastructure development, including income-generating projects, Strengthening relations with international organizations, including the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the #RMC and the Muslim World League. Participants were also informed about the projects that the #RMC leadership has included in its action plan.

#Happening_Now: The Mufti of Rwanda, Sheikh Sindayigaya Musa, is chairing the annual Rwanda Muslim conference known as “Multaqaa.” This meeting reviews the status of the Rwanda Muslim Community, the activities carried out, and future plans. In his speech, the Mufti of Rwanda thanked the good leadership of His Excellency the President of the Republic, @PaulKagame, for the contribution the country is making to the Rwanda Muslim Community in its rebuilding process, especially in matters of foreign affairs and cooperation, which are bringing positive results and hope for the future.
