From classically trained music student to television sound engineer, postal truck driver, and eventually a Warlock—Phil Lesh wore many hats, even in the early days of his friendship with Jerry Garcia. Video via @jerrygarcia originally recorded at MTV Studios in 1983.

Hearing Trey and the Boston Pops play my favorite Phish song Harry Hood, nearly 30 years to the day of my first ever @phish show... well that was emotional. The five or so minutes of music that followed this video was among the most beautiful these ears have ever heard.
Seeing Trey at Tanglewood last night was a bucket list moment. I was introduced to the Boston Pops at an early age via a cassette played frequently on trips to Vermont - being there to hear them transforming Phish songs into majestic arrangements was very special.
