@dontstandme1 @SportsCuz310 If we lose to Ohio St and UCLA, I think we need to beat Penn St to guarantee it, as a Q3 loss this late in the season would be brutal
If the current B1G standings mirror the B1G Tourney standings, we might also need to win our first game (2nd round game) with a 1st round upset
English

@SportsCuz310 If we lose all 3 games let’s just say or if we only beat pen state and lose to FUCLA and Ohio do we still make the tournament?
English

@JulieMi17300708 @SportsCuz310 I still don’t how we’re not @ least a 6-seed though:
NET - 21
Torvik - 16
Wins Above Bubble - 22
ELO Rankings - 22
NET SOS - 3

This is tampering…..
Aaron Heisen@aaron_heisen
How does Cori Close advertise #UCLA’s values to prospective players? “We will not be a part of tampering, but we’ve been very proactive… This is the kind of point guard, this is the kind of rim protector, this is the kind of character we’re looking for in this reload.”

@WestCoastBraves @georgewrighster And this was after ND rushed to schedule Wisconsin and Rice so that their September was conveniently filled up and they could make SC look like the bad guy for trying to push a Week 0 game
English

@georgewrighster They actually told ND week 0-4, that’s a 5 week option.
You keep posting & making yourself look like a bigger fool by the day
English

USC only has 9 P4 games on their schedule and those are Big Ten conference games.
The schedule is tough but some teams in the ACC and B12 are playing 11!!!
USC wanted ND off because it was gonna be hard. they knew they would say no to week 0
TRE45ON@TRE45ON
@georgewrighster Anyone with WiFi and a Low IQ can say anything. SC has the toughest schedule in the country next year. Oregon plays Boise State okie state and Portland state. And they have 7 home games.. Tell uncle Phil to schedule tougher games or turn your mic off.
English

@itiswhatitis517 @SportsCuz310 Nahh you had one more year. Then you can see NYC anytime you want. Bad career move, same with Heckel
English

@SportsCuz310 @CurtisJermaine2 Hard to blame her for going home to New York (basically) to play for a top program, but she could’ve done some things at SC this year
English

@SportsCuz310 Wouldn’t we be playing in Austin since Texas as a 2 seed would hosts the first 2 rounds, before eventually going to Sacramento if we beat Texas and make the Sweet 16?
English

@TaliaGoodmanWBB I think it threw off the scout her being out, and Indiana was a much more athletic team w/ Kiaku
Also, SC is ultimately short, which allowed their 2 6’3” forwards to go 9/14 from 2, and it allowed Makalusky more opportunity to score and show off her range as a true stretch 4
English

How are teams going to guard both of them? Can’t double them both.
Kennedy stretch 4, Sitaya Stretch big. Saniyah Hall scoring power. My Lord😮💨
aysia@aysiacchanell
ju and her freshie 😭❤️
English

@JulieMi17300708 Has to start with beating Northwestern
Bracketologists have been giving us the benefit of the doubt w/ all our Ls being Quad 1 imho, but we can’t lose a Quad 3 game to Northwestern, who has been deceptively tough at home
Thursday will pla a big role in deciding our tourney fate
English

What to watch for
Can USC build a Big Ten win streak?
No team in the country has played a tougher schedule this season than USC, which has faced the No. 1, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 and 12 teams in the NET without JuJu Watkins. Teams aren't penalized much for individual losses against top opponents, but this time last week, USC was just 11-9 on the season despite a NET ranking in the top 25.
The Trojans' NCAA Tournament hopes were starting to be questioned following a 1-6 stretch, as teams with records near .500 rarely receive at-large bids. USC responded with a signature win over Iowa before holding Rutgers to just 39 points on Sunday.
With a favorable schedule over the next two weeks, USC has a chance to continue solidifying its resume and build toward a No. 5 or 6 seed, closer to expectations earlier in the season. Kara Dunn has been remarkable as of late, with 20 or more points in seven of the team's last eight games.

@Pure_Absolute @2024nattyychamp @AriWasserman This is why SEC folk didn’t want playoff expansion last time and don’t want another round
It limits your ability to argue based upon hypotheticals and draft picks
Indiana lit up the second best team in the SEC, and had the 72nd best roster
That argument doesn’t work anymore
English

@2024nattyychamp @AriWasserman It absolutely is in this context yes. Bowl games don't matter and half the players sit out
English

How many more years is it going to take before this isn't a default opinion?
Brennen@cAUwcollege
@On3 @AriWasserman Still weaker than the easiest sec schedule.
English

@o_pound @AriWasserman Or maybe UGA just isn’t as good as Ohio State, so their games are closer
English

@AriWasserman The thing that is different is that Ohio State never comes close to losing to a mid or lower tier b1g squad. The difference between the best and the mid like Minnesota is so extreme. UGa could goto Auburn and actually have a shot at losing.
English

@bmckone @rkrager8 12-9 is deceptive
What people don’t see is SC has played 8 teams currently ranked (inc. all of Top 3), 11 teams in the top 25 of NET and 12 teams in the Top 25 of Torvik, and missed a key piece for 3 of the Ls
Every SC L is Quad 1, and they’re still #20 in NET and #16 in Torvik
English

@Hassel_Chris And that’s before even getting to the fact that SC has played all of the Top 3 AP teams (UConn, UCLA and South Carolina)
English

@Hassel_Chris People see 12-9 and assume a bad team
What they don’t see is SC has played 8 teams currently ranked, 11 teams in the top 25 of NET and 12 teams in the Top 25 of Torvik, and missed a key piece for 3 of the Ls
Every SC L is Quad 1, and they’re still #20 in NET and #16 in Torvik
English

@ethan_petrik A lot of what they said seemed to be from the framework of trying to elevate Iowa
They were trying to make a blowout Iowa L look better
They also said that Iowa was possibly looking ahead to UCLA, which would be crazy if true since SC is much better than their record indicates
English

@Johnny171414 @ethan_petrik SC is #20 in NET and #16 in Torvik
Their record is deceiving because they’ve played a ridiculously hard schedule, and Smith was out for 3 of those losses
Unless they suffer a February collapse, they are making the tournament
English

@ethan_petrik Right?? Worry about making the tournament first.
Unless she was talking about the WNIT final four.
English

@DavidEickholt Every time I watch an Iowa game Jensen is getting worked up about officiating
What are you talking about?
English

@sportsfan6718 Well you clearly do, as you’re making unsolicited tweets about SC Women’s Basketball
English

@itiswhatitis517 Y’all got sent home by us the last two years in a row and you think we care about a regular season win 😂😭 that’s kinda cute I can’t lie
