A great 13 days away in Asia working in Singapore, Bangkok and KL Unfortunately it is tinged with great personal sadness as I received news that my mum had passed away as I was boarding the plane from KL. Bear with me for the next couple of weeks as I spend time with my dad.

I asked my editor about titles and he said 'anything with Rome in it seems to sell well'. So Hero of Rome it was. (Not quite so easy by book 6 or 7).

Valerius series done ✅ What a month that was! Always been a big fan of all things Roman but seriously upset this is all done. Cracking cracking books and now added to my forever keep piles alongside ‘The Bernice Chronicles and The Druid’

@coach_samuelT @Stevepeel63 The ‘female’ boxer was found to have XY chromosomes (male) previously and as a result, not allowed to compete as a female by one boxing board of control, the Olympics however use a different board for their competitions, so it’s been allowed - shameful really!

Notification of bank account closure from @santanderuk - been with them over 25 years - one letter says 1st July, one says 1st August, both arrived this morning, dated 1st May - great customer service!

Very sad to hear of the passing of CJ Sansom. His Shardlake novels are masterpieces of the historical genre, beautifully written and reeking of Tudor England.
