⚠️CRINGE WARNING⚠️ Anime has been a core memory for me since I was young. Even during the times I was buried in books for school or caught up in work, anisong was always there to bring me joy. Sometimes the music brought me even more happiness than watching anime itself. I think that is why anikura became one of my strongest passions. I feel so blessed to live in the Bay Area where AniClover, one of the most inclusive and welcoming anikura DJ groups in the U.S., has been building space for this culture. Thanks to them, I have been able to enjoy anikura at least once a month and connect with others who share the same love, without having to fly to Japan so often. I supported AniClover for years, and last year they gave me the chance to start DJing with them. I still feel awestruck when I think about how kind and open they were to teach and guide someone like me who started with no DJ experience. Tonight, I get to spin at their 6th anniversary event. I cannot imagine my life without anikura and AniClover anymore. It is not just a hobby, it has become a lifestyle and a community I treasure with all my heart 🥹🤍 See you tonight! 👋
