An investigation into Clemson football: The Tigers sent nine guys to the NFL (five in the first three rounds) this year - a school record. Blake Miller went 17 to Detroit. Peter Woods went 29 to Kansas City. T.J. Parker, Avieon Terrell, and Antonio Williams all came off the board by the end of round three. this is the same team that finished 7-6 last season - the fewest wins Clemson has had since 2010. they led the country in returning production. they refused to add anyone from the transfer portal. and they lost six games. here are the facts... you cannot have five top-100 NFL picks on your roster AND lose six games. compare that to Georgia. compare that to Ohio State. those programs put a similar roster of top picks in the draft each year and they do it while competing for trophies. Clemson hasn't been in that conversation in half a decade. so one of two things has to be true. either Dabo Swinney's time at Clemson is coming to an end OR the NFL is dramatically overvaluing every prospect walking out of Death Valley. as the fan of a team that just drafted T.J. Parker - I'm hoping (respectfully) for the former.
