At times people miss opportunities not because they lack ability, but because nobody shared the information or showed them the path. If you can help, do it. That cousin. That nephew or niece. That neighbour back in the village. Share opportunities with them. Guide them where you can. One conversation can change someone’s entire direction in life.

@MsMiriti Yes, the same way Amerix puts it. Politicians are a reflection of people's manners and behaviours. Bad voters = bad politicians.

@Glenton True. That’s exactly why self-hosting with @eddwp makes sense long-term. Keep 100% and own your platform instead of renting space that eventually squeezes you.

No matter the industry or product. If you're selling in a marketplace, sooner or later, all marketplaces will turn against you. They need to grow revenue; the only way to do that is to take it from your margin.
Syed Balkhi@syedbalkhi

Envato recently raised marketplace fees to 50%. If you are selling WordPress plugins, themes , or other digital products on Envato marketplace, you should consider switching to @eddwp as your platform to save money. We use it for our own businesses and it's a battle tested platform for years. We have everything you need from Software Licensing, subscription, access control, and more to help you build a sustainable long term business. Not to mention @cklosowski is an incredible leader and is always making the platform better ❤️

@itsMikeKipruto Well documented. SilentCards operations highlight the evolution of cybercrime in Kenya from basic carding to sophisticated bank intrusions. The regional expansion into Uganda and Rwanda before arrests is particularly notable.

🧵 Thread Forkbombo’s collapse in 2017 didn’t kill the network. It created something quieter… and far more dangerous. This is the story of SilentCards - the breakaway faction that leveled up East Africa’s cybercrime game.

@ItsBlackMatter Thanks for highlighting it. Stronger defenses and better talent pipelines are key if we're going to stay ahead.

Important thread on SilentCards. This group showed how deeply local actors can penetrate banking systems through technical skill and social engineering. East Africa needs stronger cyber defenses.

Spot on @joaocruz32. Email issues usually aren’t random. Gmail and Outlook just don’t trust your domain by default. Fix is simple: add SPF and DKIM to your DNS. That’s it. One quick setup and your WordPress emails stop landing in spam and start hitting inboxes. Most site owners miss this step, which is why “emails not sending” is so common. Worth saving if you run WordPress 👇

After ~1,500 support tickets this year, here's the #1 reason emails go to spam. It's not what most people think. 🧵

@JosephAgadaga Yes bro, the SilentCards really went ghost with those insiders and cleaned the banks proper. Crazy how we still haven't learned from that 😂

@itsMikeKipruto Solid thread. SilentCards showed how stealth + insiders beats loud hacks every time. Kenya’s banks learned the hard way that patience wins cyber wars. More of this history needed!

SilentCards exposed a hard truth: The biggest threats to banks in the region are no longer lone hackers. They are organized, patient, and highly coordinated crews blending technical skill, insider access, and financial discipline. Forkbombo introduced the blueprint. SilentCards refined it. Years later, many financial institutions across Africa are still racing to close the gaps.
