@Hytale New world running on Nobara Linux, super low frames, unplayable. This is the first issue I've had running the game. I normally run max settings flawlessly with frames capped at 165. My rig: AMD Ryzen 9 5900X with a RTX 4070 Super and 32GB of RAM.

For the last 2 years, I've observed increasing latency between my Bluetooth headphones & Windows 11, hitting as much as 2 sec delays. I would have to disconnect/reconnect to resync audio but there'd still be some latency. Since switching it Linux? Perfectly synchronous audio. I had assumed it was my headphones aging out, I bought them nearly 8 years ago, but it turns out it was the Windows ecosystem. I am very much enjoying Nobara Linux. Turns out the best upgrade I could have installed was a free operating system. I get better framerates in the games I play on Linux than I did on Windows and input devices feel more responsive. My only gripe is that some developers actively block Linux installation, using "custom Linux kernels could circumvent anti-cheat" gaslighting as the reason, while people actively circumvent their anti-cheats on every other platform with ever-increasing ease. I've been dual-booting Win11 and Nobara Linux for a couple of games but that won't last forever. I edge closer and closer to reclaiming my second SSD and getting rid of Windows once and for all.
