Is it possible for an actor to bring alive the anguish and guilt of a wounded father and the manic detachment and cold precision of a killer cop so well simultaneously that only multiple reference performances can describe it? Yes — @itsRahulBhat’s performance in #KENNEDY does exactly that! After watching the film, I had to wade through Denzel Washington’s grief- and anger-ridden intensity in Man on Fire, Michael Chiklis’s desperate moral unravelling in The Shield, and Robert De Niro’s drifting, haunted nonchalance in Taxi Driver to mentally sum it up. And to think this isn’t the first time Rahul Bhat has delivered such a believable, grounded character on screen. Many years back, in #UGLY, he embodied a deeply flawed father whose own morally compromised actions spiral into a nightmare as he desperately tries to find his missing daughter. It’s no coincidence that both these characters were not only conceptualized but also brought to life by none other than @anuragkashyap72, who may not always get the credit for it but has given more actors their first memorable or career-defining roles than any other mainstream Hindi film director during the last two decades.

Rahul!!! Those eyes, that voice! What you and @anuragkashyap72 have done with #Kennedy is incredible! #Ugly was another shining example of the chemistry you guys share. Needless to say, keep shining 🌟🌟🌟so proud! @itsRahulBhat
