@oneofmoo Yes! if it is feedback I haven’t asked for or the feedback is formed in a non-constructive way, I do often have to take a little breath and try push past that and understand the problem they are having. Most people feedback with a solution that might not be correct 🙂‍↕️

@Vialixia AND it takes a while for your team to get used to them, but people also estimate time in varied ways? Some people sandbag, some people are optimistic so I think in its own way, even if you estimate time, your team start creating their own “time points” depending.

@Vialixia Personally, I prefer Story Points, I see the value in abstracting time because people take that very literally and can add stress to your team. I’ve been a Producer, Programmer and Designer so maybe I am in the sweet spot but if you can get people on board, I think it’s good.

Speaking of the long tail, I just looked at the Steam sales report for July and it's the third biggest month we've had since launch. The only bigger months were launch and our first ever discount.

It's the 5 year anniversary of Knights and Bikes! It didn't get off to the best start (I got a full time job weeks after launch), but the long tail has been genuinely unbelievable! It let's me work on Mythmatch without too much financial pressure and I'm so grateful for that.

FINALLY can exhale! This is an amazing game by a super talented/nice bunch of friends. As well as a big chunk of the engine, I wrote the new RHI for this game, writing the D3D11, D3D12, PC, Xbox, and PS5 backends and tools. It's my best one so far. Can't wait to play it again!
