It’s 3 AM and I’m thinking about Murder Most Foul again guys. Cannot overstate how all encompassing it all feels.

Even though I’ve listened to Murder Most Foul a lot, it always REALLY moves me when I actively focus on everything in the song. It’s like all the world stops for 16 minutes and 54 seconds! Beautifully tragic and the instrumentation couldn’t be better.

@lattewithstpaul Yeah that makes sense! It would be really neat to see a rehearsal from this era/leg. Obviously Tony knows Bob perhaps better than any other musician he’s played with, and he gets to practically guide the songs to a finished point. I’m sure whatever happens, it’ll sound great!

@itsalrightmason It might be the case that some of this (who knows how much) is put on Tony as bandleader. Dylan is going to have input on how a song is ultimately arranged, etc but it could be that Tony gets w the guys and works through any number of tunes. Good musicians can easily make changes

Do we think a month is enough for Bob and company to work out and rehearse some new live material? Of course, I want him to relax but it would be cool to see some “new” songs appear on the setlist!

@jzimm319 It’s clear that playing live is perhaps his greatest passion! It’s amazing to me how committed he’s continued to be, and we have to respect his craft in really whatever form he chooses to deliver to us. I hope he has a lovely break and birthday.

@itsalrightmason Bob has rarely played on his birthday in recent years. I'm always glad when he takes a moment to recharge himself. Looking at his schedule, how many of us could do that? Especially at his age. Whatever Bob needs to keep delivering to his audience is fine.
