@dkerrincendia @sistineresearch Robot money for AI. It’s what everyone thinks Bitcoin is. No fees, near instant transfers, fully distributed. Hardest money in existence

@nottouchingrass Why is a narrative required? It helps with short term price action but the market long term is a weighing machine. What should nano really be worth given the fundamentals?

Nano $XNO was top-tier tech in 2017 with fast txs and no fees. But that narrative’s old. Unless they drop a privacy layer or a new hook that fits today’s meta, it’s hard to see a real run coming.

Wild how people believe any photo without a single verified report. No credible outlet, no medical records, no hospital statement — just social media outrage. If this were true, Amnesty, HRW, Reuters, and every major outlet would’ve covered it within hours. But they didn’t. Because there’s zero proof this man even exists outside of activist tweets

@kit13946295 What he’s saying is technically true if you’re considering monolithic single chains like bitcoin. But doesn’t apply to block lattice is my take

“Getting fee revenues is what creates the most decentralized, scarce & secure chain in the long run!” $xno, can we discuss this statement?
Justin Bons@Justin_Bons

@Delztheplug Because we can & why wouldn't you want to enable the option for self-custody for the masses... You are also underestimating the demand for blockspace, coming from many use cases Getting fee revenues is what creates the most decentralized, scarce & secure chain in the long run!

@ChiragAsarpota @SparK_BR @nano I’ve had similar thoughts. Perhaps gaming is the use case for Nano’s feeless microtransactions

@Dedicatus54514 @scaling01 Build open source projects that are useful and promote them to build up a reputation and then leverage that to get remote consulting work. If you know what you’re doing you can be charging the equivalent of hundreds of dollars an hour.

ChatGPT literally got worse for every single Plus user today. There's no way to reliably get thinking models anymore. Before we had o4-mini, o4-mini-high and o3. Now we have GPT-5 Thinking with 200 messages per week and a router that exclusively routes you to some small and shitty non-reasoning model.

@nanoseagull "Nano's security model works excellently" Nano doesn't have a security model 😂 "10 years of successful operation backs that up" That's not an argument, that's cope "Kind of rich of a promoter of a 4-year old mainnet to be lecturing a 10-year old mainnet BTW." Deflect more

Fun fact: the lowest security coin I ever heard of is Nano. Why? Simple. The entire security of decentralized money relies on incentivising participants to follow the behaviour required for the protocol to operate. You do this by incentive alignment: behaving against the interest of the system should incur lost revenue. But you can't do that when you have no incentives. The only way a decentralized economy has no security budget is if it provides no security. If Bitcoin is digital money, then Nano is digital handwritten IOU notes. In particular, the scenario where PRs charge for approving transactions, and split the share with coin owners, forcing each and every transaction to pay 67% of the holders or it will be censored, is the only stable equilibrium of Nano I know of. There's a small hump to get there, but it only requires 34% of the PRs to go this path and Nano is doomed forever. And I stress, the 34% don't have to collude, it suffices that each decides independently to charge for inclusion and split the revenue with the holders they represent. In fact, it only takes one, assuming that holders are also profit maximizing, they would flock to the PR who will pay them the most to represent them. Yes, even at the expense of the "well being of the network". The current situation, where PRs just work for free as hobbyists and altruistd, is not an equilibrium, and there isn't the slightest of guarantees it will stay this way. There couldn't be. Not as long as there are no incentives, and PRs and holders have nothing to lose by deviating from the expected behaviour.
Colin LeMahieu@ColinLeMahieu

PoW coins offer the lowest security guarantees because they’re poor trapdoor functions. There should be a complexity difference between computing and reversing a solution. PoW is just as complex to compute as it is to reverse differing by only a small constant factor.

@ChiragAsarpota @nano If i know that the price of nano would appreciate in futtture why would i pay it to someone and loose value. don't you think we are doing the same mistake what a guy did a decade ago when he bought a pizza for 10k BTC. Now, i'm sure he would be repenting.

The brutal truth about @Nano adoption: It’s not price. It’s not AI hype. It’s not some future market cap. It’s this: Not many people are ACTUALLY using it. A raw thread on what needs to change — and fast. 🧵

I usually buy a small amount of shares of products or services that blow me away—everything from Ubiquiti routers to household things like Dymonic Caulk to retail experiences like TJ Maxx. Virtually every single one of them has 3-10x'd from that moment and I regretted not making those companies my entire portfolio. It's easy to forget how impossibly hard it is to make consumers happy. Most things in business are fixable—but making a great product is the only thing that doesn't have a repeatable playbook. So when you see it, you should pay close attention.
