Mostly use AI as a thinking partner, not a design generator. My workflow is usually: • dump messy product thoughts into ChatGPT • refine UX flows + edge cases • generate UX copy and states • challenge assumptions before opening Figma • explore references/patterns faster • use AI to speed up repetitive work, not product judgment Still doing the actual product thinking manually.

It’s getting really frustrating, @figma. We’re using high-end devices, ultra-fast internet, optimized workflows… yet large-scale design systems still become painfully slow. (both desktop app and browser) Current state: • 40+ components • 20k+ variants • only ~20% of the system completed And we’re already hitting major performance issues: - Updating a component freezes the file - Small edits can take 20-30 seconds before the UI responds - Constant “unsaved changes” "discard changes" warnings - Publishing libraries takes forever - Sometimes Figma says the library has changes even when nothing was modified I honestly can’t imagine what happens at 100k+ variants scale. How are enterprise teams handling this? Any real solutions/workflows/advice?

317,000 🎉 I poured money into Google Ads, Meta Ads, influencer posts. Almost all of it failed. But we kept showing up anyway. Today, Hugeicons crossed 317,000 weekly npm downloads. And if I include Figma file and plugin users, CDN users, and React users, Hugeicons has now crossed 0.6 million total users across free and paid. A few failures, and what worked for us so far 👇 I started freelancing in 2015. A few years ago, I shifted my focus almost entirely to Hugeicons. It took years of work, consistency, learning, and failed experiments. At first, I wasn't even sure X would work for us. I wasn't active there before and didn't use it daily. But my team and I kept showing up anyway, on X and across other social platforms like Linkedin and Facebook. But X is the most important one. I guess almost all the designers and devs know us via X. Some posts got only a few likes. Some did well. But we kept going. We kept posting, testing, improving, and trying to stay visible. We tried Google Ads, X Ads, Meta Ads, influencer marketing, and paid promotional posts. In some months, I poured almost everything into ads and got close to zero return. A lot of money, effort, and energy went into things that simply did not work. But we kept going. A team of 20 people worked on Hugeicons across SEO, content, icon design, development, testing, research, and growth. SEO has also been doing well for us. As a founder, I'd say don't skip SEO content. Slowly, more developers started choosing Hugeicons because of the quality, beauty, and care behind the product. Today, Hugeicons is used by Fiverr, Hyundai, Shadcn, YC & YC startups, and giant teams around the world. It has also been recognized by Framer, Figma, Webflow, and other names we deeply respect. For me, 317,000 is more than a growth number. It proves that consistency compounds. It proves that showing up keeps opening doors. If you are a founder, keep going. Even when things feel slow. Even when experiments fail. If you keep building, keep learning, and keep showing up, doors open. Grateful for every person who trusted Hugeicons Icon Library. Still learning. Still building.
