The body of Maulana Tausif Raza was found near railway tracks in Bareilly. In a video statement given to a local news channel, his wife has raised concerns about the circumstances surrounding his death. Additionally, an audio recording of a phone call between Raza and his wife has surfaced, in which he can be heard urgently asking her to inform the police about some men who were allegedly harassing him.
However, Bareilly police have stated that Raza was sitting near the door of a train coach, fell asleep, and accidentally slipped onto the tracks.
