Hi! I’m a pre-debut Grim Reaper VTuber guiding lost souls with songs! 🎵 I'm an aspiring vsinger who guides lost souls through the underworld. I'm working on a redesign, currently posting edited YT shorts and song covers on YT! Bribes accepted…if you want to live longer. 💸

VTubers! Have you ever rebranded from being a face streamer to Vtuber? 💭 Was the transition more comfortable for you and did you have an easier time expressing yourself? I'm curious because that's exactly what happened to me when I decided to rebrand as a VTuber! 🎉

@JadefireGaming Yeah that is something that I need to figure out too, I try to move around a lot but then it loses the tracking but I don't want to be static either XD

@itsjeemin_ I used to stream with my webcam then I became a VTuber; the transition wasn't that difficult, my biggest thing is my model losing tracking every once in awhile.

@itsjeemin_ I mean technically I did ya I have been streaming for years on and off and after starting back up again I decided to be a vtuber just for fun i have no problem showing my face though

@itsjeemin_ I did, in November 2022. After 9 years of streaming, I was getting tired of my disability (Cerebral Palsy) being so front and center on camera as most people aren't patient enough to wait for me to even use my text-to-speech. So, I decided to rebrand as a VTuber.

@localcrabpuff I totally relate! I wasn't the biggest fan of myself either but with VTubing it has helped me be more comfortable and I'm more ok with myself! You got this!

@itsjeemin_ I did! I was a face cam streamer for over a year and a half, I started having a lot of health problems that made it hard for me to show up the way I wanted (also made me gain a lot of weight), i was extremely self conscious and would just stare at myself in the camera all stream-

@MrsCozyComfy I agree! I was very skeptical about switching over due to past experiences but the friends I’ve made now and the experiences I’ve had so far with VTubing has been amazing!

@itsjeemin_ Hi! I did face streams first and then transitioned to vtuber. I got used to how streaming worked so when I finally put a toe in the vtuber waters, it wasn’t too big of dip. Learning new things is fun!

@itsjeemin_ No, but I did rebrand from a faceless content creator to a vtuber. Used to be a Mario Kart creator before I got tired of it and gave up around summer 2025 (plus the quality of the content was “we have Shortcat at home”). I at least learned lessons about content creation from it
