I get it now. It's men who are actually obsessed with marriage. But the issue is that the women they find attractive and hope to marry aren't conforming to their misogyny. So they try to make women feel guilty about "ending up alone". It upsets them that women don't want them

I really have friends with multiple kids, marriages, and even divorces, and here I am, a thirty-something teenager.

Misogynoir is a rite of passage for a lot of people when they're adolescents, but they never do the work of unlearning it. They don't unpack why they have so much vitriol for Black women, they just say sorry when the mask slips and they're caught.
