The so-called "Aid Shock of 2025" was triggered by a massive US cut and shuttering of USAID, plus sharp belt tightening across the EU. But wait, Ukraine received more Official Development Assistance (ODA) - government aid designed to promote the economic development and welfare of developing countries – at $44.9 BILLION in 2025 than ALL of Africa combined, marking the FIRST TIME a single European nation has out-received the entire African continent in the modern era.

Nigeria is for global peace and stability and for its friends and partners anywhere. I am particularly concerned by the attacks on UAE's civilian and economic infrastructure. I reaffirm my support and solidarity to the President of UAE and the measures he took to safeguard civilian populations and critical infrastructure.

Imagine being deducted your salary every month for SHA and the Housing Levy, While the very people in UDA who introduced it are not even applying it to themselves. Businesses and even other political parties are being forced to comply. But UDA staff? Exempt. And it doesn’t end there. The audit report also shows PAYE and other statutory deductions were not being remitted. So this is the reality: 👉 Kenyans are compelled to pay 👉 But those in power are not holding themselves to the same standard Same law. Same country. Different rules.

President William Ruto: I know many people in Kenya keep asking why is it that sometimes the prices of fuel are different in Kenya from our neighbors. Kenya is a middle-income country. Our neighbors are least developed countries. There is a big difference. If you want to compare Kenya fairly with others, compare Kenya with other middle-income countries. #WeekendatOne

Being in your early 40s is weird, man. People around your age are in every stage of life. You have people who are grandparents. You have people who have newborns. You have people dating 25-year-olds. You have people celebrating their 20th wedding anniversary. Some of them look 60, and some of them look 30. All the bases are covered when you are in your early 40s.

The level of farming mzungus do is just insane bwana. Sio kama hii yetu kenya ya ng’ombe hamsini. In countries like Australia, kule wale jamaa wanalisha ng’ombe na landcruza buana. Juu wako na fleet ya ng’ombe kama 80k. And the ranches are so big that Sometimes I see them using helicopters to heard. Sometimes in their own ranches, they carry tents to sleep in at night because they cannot make it back to the houses. Mzungus are aggressively entrepreneurial. Because even the aboriginals wale weusi, the original inhabitants of Australia, had to lease the lands to the Mzungus since they were doing nothing with it. I am not praising the mzungu but when it comes to making money, yani capitalism, these guys dont play. Followed closely by the chinese. Mwafrika ako huko nyuma anabangaiza tu,sisi naye unajua hatunanga mambo mingi bora tumeshiba. Thats why we never went out to explore like kina Christopher colombus and vasco de gea These Australian guys im telling you they do serious animal farming. And they are not in the business of milk, ni nyama tu. Na kule hawananga mambo ya butchery. They sell directly to kichinjios that had pre ordered them. We cannot compete im afraid. Tuliwachwa nyuma kitambo sana. Na wakatuambia bibilia inasema Happy are the poor. Swali ni je,are you happy? Khabusie!

There are societies that have conquered Earth. They have owned almost everything and enjoyed the beauty of life. They have mastered housing, healthcare, education, stable currencies, high-speed trains, aeroplanes, skyscrapers, bridges, submarines, warships, and oil plants. Now, they are exploring outer galaxies just to catch a glimpse of the stars. In contrast, the year is 2026 in Africa, and government officials are stealing from the national treasury. There are countries without running water, electricity, or food security. These corrupt politicians are not colonial governments, they are native Africans, born and raised in Africa, yet destroying the land of their ancestors and their heritage. We cannot deny the impact of the IQ metric on the quality of governance and national systems.

@AokoOtieno_ @AnuarSaddat Will the government subsidize the rents? Will the new space accommodate all those who had business spaces there before? Isn't this gentrification? Why not provide alternative income generating activities before demolition when you know only 30 % survive?

The sad thing is that there is a hustler somewhere who thinks Ruto is “investing” kshs 5 Billion to build a mall in Gikomba, to allow the hustler to go back there and sell second hand shoes and clothes. Brethren, as you pick up pieces of your businesses and move from Gikomba, kiss it goodbye because that is the last time you will see it. We pray that you guys will find strength as you entered even the more difficult phase of your lives, thinking about how you will feed your families. There aren’t a lot of job opportunities out there in this Ruto Kenya. If you are lucky enough, the government may give you gigs of shouting “Tutam” here and there, or they may hire you to be part of Ruto’s goons whenever he visits your local area, for kshs 100. When such opportunities come your way, please don’t resist them because that is all the work there is in this government. Poleni again for your loss.
