A few days back, I was recreating the Magnitude badges as a resource for my future artwork. Then I thought it is a nice idea to represent it as a proper showcase, so I have created this web app. Originally, I was just redesigning the badges for my own personal use, but I decided to turn it into a full showcase website for the community. It lists all the ranks and the guidelines in a clean way. I have attached a video of how it looks. Do check out the live link below and let me know your thoughts! Happy 1st Anniversary, @SeismicSys 🎉🎂 In the blink of an eye, we’ve walked an entire year together with Seismic. The community is getting more and more lively now, this past year really felt like riding a high-speed train, the scenery outside the window flashed by at lightning speed, but the warmth and conviction inside the carriage have always remained constant. This year, we’ve witnessed Seismic’s key milestones together, everyone encouraging each other, building side by side. Thank you to @lyronctk and the team for their hardcore engineering, and to every single community member. In the new year, we keep climbing higher, the curve only goes up. #SeismicCommunity1stYearAnniversary @NoxxW3 @xealistt @heathcliff_eth @nanajiang8888

One Year with Seismic - A Memorable Journey Looking back at my profile in the @SeismicSys community today, I realize it's been exactly one year since I joined and joined everyone here. From being just an ordinary member, I've gradually learned so much from the community: from how people share knowledge and support each other, to the spirit of building a truly positive and creative environment. Here, there are interesting conversations, fresh ideas, energetic discussions, and especially, incredibly wonderful people. Throughout this past year: • I've met many new friends • I've learned a lot of knowledge and different perspectives • And most importantly, I've felt the true sense of community Thank you to the Seismic team @NoxxW3 @xealistt @heathcliff_eth ; Vietnam Leader @2imtunek @thoai6sixx and everyone who created such a wonderful community. Hopefully, in the future, we will continue to contribute even more, bring more positive energy, and together with everyone, develop an increasingly strong community. Keep going with Seismic

🎉 Seismic Turns One! 🎉 🥂 Today, our @SeismicSys Discord celebrates its 1-year anniversary! 📈 What started as a small space for a handful of people to connect has grown into a true, big family. Over the past year, the community has flourished into a place where anyone can make friends, share ideas, or simply have a good time. 🤝 Together, we discussed new ideas, helped each other, shared life moments, and laughed from the heart. Friendships formed that grew into genuine connections, and shared discussions and activities made our Discord lively and engaging for everyone. 🌟 This year has shown that even a small idea can grow into something big when the right people are around. Everyone who joined and spent time in the community helped make it warm, open, and energetic. 🤎 I’m glad I got to be part of it and experience this community firsthand. @crypto_kesha @xealistt @heathcliff_eth @NoxxW3

People refer TEEs in Seismic to "Trusted Execution Environments" a secure area inside a processor where sensitive computations can run privately and verifiably. What a TEE I can say it is a Trusted Execution Environment like a sealed room inside a computer chip. When data or code enters that room: 🔹No one outside can see it 🔹The operating system cannot read it 🔹Even the server owner cannot access it The computation happens privately, and the result can still later be cryptographically proven. Why TEEs matter for @SeismicSys Seismic focuses on enabling onchain privacy with verifiability. And TEEs will help make this possible by allowing sensitive operations to happen without exposing raw data to the public chain. So TEEs allow Seismic to: - Process private transactions securely - Run confidential smart contract logic - Generate trusted proofs that computation happened correctly - Protect user behavior and financial strategy Let make an example in fintech Imagine a fintech protocol doing risk checks for a loan. Normally on a public blockchain: - Your wallet activity - Your collateral - Your strategy All this would be visible to everyone. But With TEEs in Seismic: - The data enters the secure enclave - The computation happens privately - The network only sees a proof of the result, not the underlying data So the system can prove: ✔ the user is solvent ✔ the rules were followed All this without revealing the user's financial details. TEEs allow @SeismicSys to run private computation onchain while still proving the result to the network. @xealistt @xplanettt @NoxxW3 @heathcliff_eth

Global business fails when moving money remains difficult. A trader in Lagos currently manages separate accounts for USD, EUR, and local currency. This creates high fees, slow settlement, and manual tracking. Money moves, but it moves inefficiently. This problem of full transparency and inefficient movement money in the financial industry is what Seismic, Brookwell, Cred and Via are planning to stop by working together as a system. @speciefinance (Trade Support): Specie replaces the patchwork of multiple banks with one system built for cross border trade. It consolidates every currency and direction into a single account. @brookwellapp (Settlement & Yield): Brookwell uses stablecoin rails to move value faster than traditional banking. It connects your balance to DeFi yields, allowing your treasury to earn while paying bills normally. @cred_protocol (Trust & Risk): Cred enables on-chain credit without exposing your financial history. It scores creditworthiness privately so businesses can access capital based on reputation rather than just collateral. @via4biz (Financial Platform): Via serves as a stablecoin first alternative to legacy banking. The platform integrates blockchain infrastructure with traditional financial identifiers like virtual IBANS and routing numbers. @SeismicSys (The Foundation): Seismic provides the privacy layer for the entire stack. It uses encrypted smart contracts to ensure that while transactions are real, the sensitive details stay confidential. Sadly, public blockchains are like glass ledgers where every movement is permanent and readable by anyone. For a serious business, this transparency is nothing but a liability that could lead to: ● Exposed Strategy: Competitors can track your transaction volumes and treasury moves. ● Supplier Risk: Your supply chain and partner identities become public data. ● Data Leaks: Your history is less private than your Amazon purchase records. Seismic rebuilt the infrastructure from scratch to meet privacy requirements. It allows records to be verified and settled properly without making your financial life a public dataset. This combination of high yield, instant settlement, and total privacy creates the bank account businesses actually need. So, in real life scenario. Specie supports the trade, Brookwell handles the settlement, Cred establishes the trust, Via bridges the gap between DeFi and Seismic protects the execution. It is a complete financial stack for the digital age. GMIC: @lyronctk @xealistt @NoxxW3 @heathcliff_eth @xplanettt and fellow Believers

foundations extending all the way to app layer is dumb, but what's not dumb is going up the stack for infra the blockchains of tomorrow will come with on-/off-ramps, cards, compliance, and KYC
mert@mert

have not seen many opinions worse than this in crypto a foundation building user facing products has the following consequences: i) if you are a team also building the same product a foundation is, then you have 0 incentive to remain on that chain because - you either outcompete them, in which case since the foundation owns the majority of tokens, they get more resources to compete with you - you arent able to compete in a free market because foundations by merely existing act as the "official" version of something, regardless of if the product is objectively better - even if the foundation product is not making a profit, they still undercut your demand and margins (this is not hypothetical, this happens in nations with nationalized sectors all the time) - and btw if a team is not making profit, then they also are not gonna get better at making the product ii) by virtue of the above, you then disincentivize new teams coming to build on the chain because why would they bother with such a handicap. so now you have disincentivized free market competition iii) this of course means that over time a single entity is the singular point of failure for several things on the chain, in which case there's no purpose to a blockchain. this team also has a very skewed feedback loop since it's not clear if they actually made a better product or they're just the official channel (see the DMV) iv) hence the means of production are controlled by the state v) congratulations you have reinvented communism and your chain is now dead the actual way this must work is the foundation sharing their information with the private teams to help them improve the gaps on the chain since they have more information by being perceived as the official channel
