I've tackled this issue before when I was building a canvas-based graphics library and WYSIWYG editor.
It sounds so simple at first but it's actually very complex. You'd have to first split the text into graphemes, measure each one to appropriately segment them into a line by taking into account different font combos, word groupings, punctuation, whitespacing, language/locality, text alignment, line height, emojis, etc. AND on top of all that... have cross-browser support and be performant.
This is such an awesome project and looks like it'll be a real game changer for the frontend!

I started it just for fun but I'm having a lot of fun so I want to keep building it and see where it goes. The goal is to reach the optimal balance between type safety and good DX. I find that maximizing type safety hinders DX because it becomes too restrictive. I'd appreciate any suggestions you have to improve the API!

@itskyedo type safety is a deep rabbit hole good luck I'm ex-unit 8200 and even I sometimes question my type logic lol what inspired you to build yet another validation library
