@hizam_elqahtani Personally, I’m not a fan of dinner and a show. It actually turns me off going to a restaurant. But, I might be the last guy in Dubai that feels this way!

Looking into taking the UK drone flight tests. I sat the test in Dubai years ago (quite easy, like a driving test, but with a drone). We are grounded in the UAE, so I can't wait to get out flying again. (Ps. This beach is in the Seychelles).

@claireindubai Yes! The pastry is not nearly as cooked as the pastel de nata, the cinnamon sugar top is absent but that custard centre is very much there. After reading up online, the Cantonese custard egg tart is the love-child of the British egg tart and the Portuguese pastel de nata (Macau).

@itsliamcollens Inside they look a bit more like the UK ones though missing the sprinkle mixed spice. They’re like a fusion of the two!

As someone who travels to Portugal regularly, eggy tarts hold a special place. That quivering, supple centre. The squidge between my fingers. These are not like the Portuguese type, but it takes me somewhere close. 38 dhs for three.
