I visited Indore last month to investigate a highly controversial case involving Mohsin Khan, a shooting academy operator who trapped over 30 Hindu girls and has over 100s of video clips of girls in his phone. He physically exploited them, filmed the acts, used the footage for blackmail, and extorted money. Although this case does not involve a large gang, it resembles the infamous Ajmer 1992 case. Similar incidents occurred in Bhopal with college girls, in Morena with coaching center girls, and now in Indore. This pattern is increasingly evident. I met with victims and police and collected all relevant documents. Seven FIRs have been lodged, with charges ranging from POCSO violations to fraud and forced conversions. The most shocking part: A victim, who was a minor at the time, described how Mohsin would touch them inappropriately, comment on women’s body structures, refer to Hindu girls as “use and throw” material, share stories of his nude calls, ask girls to change in front of him, and more.
