Tyla’s tour has reportedly been canceled due to low ticket sales. Per what reports say, the ticket prices were high. Her management reportedly made them that high, using her “she has two Grammy Awards” influence. But after all, she didn’t sell more than 5k tickets overall. Meanwhile, in some other countries, she didn’t even sell a single ticket. Most of the 5k people who bought her tickets were from South Africa.

@Flaviansings And the fact that others were never given this huge social responsibility to speak on such subjects? The foreign minister from South Africa was in Nigeria last week but never got this energy

So because she’s South African she deserves rape threats?????????? You guys are opening the doors for weird misogynistic men to air their disgusting fantasies, so many male South African artists come here all the time open your eyes this is misogyny.

This song is dangerous. I listened to it once and wasn’t sure, when I tell you I found myself singing it the entirety of the following day? This is how it felt ✨💖🦋🎀🦋💖✨

And South Africa, this is why we should always stand with Tyla. It’s bigger than just stanning atp. They’re constantly trying to tear her down for being African, coloured, and daring to excel. #WELOVETYLA

@Emah_uc @ISaidItig @nubian6 I guess all of us are uninterested then since you also refuse to address the reason why Nigerians are getting blackballed by the entire world right now 🙏🏾

Since Tyla is expected to speak on South African issues, when can we expect Burna Boy, Davido and Tems to speak on their countrymen about their criminality and their problematic drug dealing tendencies? Or are we reserving that energy just for one side? Speak quickly so we all know how to move please. If we’re going to hold one innocent side accountable for the actions of a select few then why can’t we apply the principle across the board?

@Emah_uc @ISaidItig @nubian6 I just told you foreigners were on the news quite literally saying “I had businesses, they were taken away” when asked to prove it, they couldn’t. I’m showing you how easy it is for someone to go to a newspaper and say “Nigerians are being killed”. And to prove my point, I’m ….

@Emah_uc @ISaidItig @nubian6 You said South Africans were killing Africans, that’s a wild accusation for someone who cannot prove it. Simply saying “I saw some videos” doesn’t cut. That accusation is a serious one for us to just leave it at “some videos”. Me saying I haven’t seen any of that doesn’t mean…

@Emah_uc @ISaidItig @nubian6 If you saw people beating people up, it was their own personal squabbles. The march on March that happened this year was peaceful and you can go on YouTube and search the marches

@itsmakho_ @ISaidItig @nubian6 And I'm assuming that the so called protesters had rights to beat people because they're non Africans. Being illegal is a crime but there are also authorities to handle their deportations. Including innocent people people is just wrong. Breaking in and stealing from them is wrong

@Emah_uc @nubian6 ..own for the things they do in foreign countries that ruin things for the good and hardworking ones. Always out here on pseudo moral high ground grasping at straws trying to get an “uh huh” out of South Africa as if you don’t see literally the whole world blackballing Nigeria

@Emah_uc @nubian6 Haibo. That’s quite literally what your original comment was about 🌚 now I lack comprehension? And you’re absolutely right. Infact, if they do not want any SAns ever over there, that’s also fine. It’s the double standards that baffles me. We never see y’all condemning your..

@Emah_uc @ISaidItig @nubian6 ..right to peacefully protest. Those screenshots you sent prove nothing because you had foreigners claiming to have lost businesses and properties to protests even on the news but when asked to prove where exactly, it was crickets

@Emah_uc @ISaidItig @nubian6 That’s because no one ever saw anyone come forward showing any injuries or signs of being beaten, protesters were marching on the roads. Were they intimidated, yes. I can agree. But violence? There was even police presence to ensure no one was harmed as people exercised their..

@Emah_uc @ISaidItig @nubian6 As a matter of fact, yes. Coming into a country undocumented ( or when you don’t have the correct papers) IS A CRIME. “None of the deported or repatriated individuals were documented or had the legal right to remain in South Africa upon processing”
