@BarryAnderson_ Hopefully they were booing him, not the players. The luckiest manager in world football at the moment.

Agree with Steve Clarke. Disappointing hearing booing at Hampden after Scotland qualified for the World Cup to end nearly 30 yrs of failure. Poor against Japan, no excuses, but it's a friendly. Some players played who wouldn't normally. Just a bit of perspective. #TartanArmy 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

@caim67 Why do you think that? He always seems pretty decent in any interviews.

Grown man spending his holiday standing in a deserted stadium in reference to a trophy won nearly 60 (SIXTY) years ago. Utterly tragic. Would love to see what other things are on this “bucket list”.

Britain has been a Christian nation for over 1,400 years. Through wars, plagues, and countless kings, Easter has always been celebrated. Yet now, Cadbury won’t even use the word ‘Easter’ on their eggs. When did celebrating British traditions become controversial?

@LiamGMck Don’t necessarily disagree but he does need the support of the player behind him to be most effective. That wasn’t happening yesterday with McCart. And that’s NOT a criticism of McCart btw.

We need to have a serious chat about Kyzi. I love him, but he’s been off it for weeks. I feel other teams have got him sussed right out and he’s nowhere near as impactful as he was at the beginning of the season. Drop? #HMFC

@GazzaSL I didn’t boo, and in fact I’m still in my seat. I’m surely THE MOST Hearts out of anyone.

@MattMcGlone9 Do Celtic actually get ‘slaughtered’ for winning by an odd goal? Really - by who?

Celtic get slaughtered winning games by the odd goal etc, etc. Hearts once again crawl through the odd goal victory and it’s heralded as something of an achievement. Fine. This title race will not include Hearts when it’s ‘baws oooot’ run-in time to prove your credentials. ☘️👊

@northernlites__ Fair play to him though - goes from a decent wage to potentially life changing wage

Interesting story from John Viola on contract negotiations for Kevin McNaughton back in the day. Shows what AFC are up against when they are dealing with agents.

So many watershed moments, but only one can be the greatest. We're asking you to choose the most iconic goal scored by the Scotland men's national team. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 ⚽️ First up... David Narey v Brazil in 1982? Or Kenny Dalglish v Wales in 1977? #BBCFootball Vote at the link below ⤵️

I ordered a T-shirt that I liked and it turns out it’s from a wee T-shirt maker in France. They’ve emailed about 35 times with individual updates about it being made, embroidered, packed and shipped. They seem excited that they’ve had a sale. I’m actual le buzzing for them.

@youlum @gooferman @AngusBMacNeil Not sure 'free drop off option' is entirely accurate as it implies it's an official option when actually it's boot the passenger out the car before the point of no return.

@jamiemills1874 @silenceothebams @ScotlandNT @FIFAWorldCup Very true but next best is Dalglish with the same but in over 100 games. In my lifetime (first real recollection of Scotland pain in WC 78) I don’t think we’ve ever really had a striker who’s transferred club form to the international stage.

@silenceothebams @ScotlandNT @FIFAWorldCup And I yours tbf … not sure the current crop will necessarily trip off folk’s lips in years to come. And this from a position of an ardent Scotland fan who absolutely appreciates the contribution these guys make and the fact they’re available to be selected.

@itsnomarooned @ScotlandNT @FIFAWorldCup Ahhh. Got you. It’s a mixed bag admittedly. But at least they were household names recognised as elite at both home and abroad. We don’t seem to produce that so much anymore. But yeah, I get your point too👍

@itsnomarooned @ScotlandNT @FIFAWorldCup Joe Jordan and Denis Law had great track records. There are many others. Mo Johnston and Charlie Nicholas were great in their day. Bobby Lennox and Dalglish also played as strikers. There’ll be others. These are just off the top of my head.

@tirnaog_09 That’s the nature of these things, they’re relevant to the time they’re taken. I’m no child but I’d not be including Baxter or McGrory simply because they’re before my time and not heavily in my consciousness - which doesn’t detract from any notion they were great players.

I know these lists are usually a bit or click bait but this one is particularly poor. I mean come on, not a single Lisbon Lion & Alan Hutton gets in, no Jim Baxter or Jimmy McGrory or either. I think somebody about 15 made this one up.
