The funniest thing about anti-Qurbani Twitter users is that almost none of them are vegetarians. They don't have a problem killing animals to eat them, but I guess poor people getting Qurbani ka gosht is somehow against their values

Pakistan has rejected the proposal by President Trump to recognize Israel as part of Iran deal, calling the two issues “not interlinked” with each other. Earlier today, Trump “demanded” that Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Pakistan, Turkey , Egypt sign the Abraham Accords as part of any Iran-US ceasefire deal. Saudi Arabia and Turkey are also unlikely to join the Abraham Accord until the establishment of a sovereign independent and Palestinian state.

Back when APS happened the media was a lot freer and it resulted in a lot more pressure on the military to actually do something to stop terrorism. Nowadays the media will cover the terrorist incident briefly and then move onto what Imran Khan eats for Brunch in prison.

President Xi Jinping met with Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, who is on an official visit to China. President Xi said that no matter how the international landscape may evolve, China will always place priority on the development of China-Pakistan relations in its diplomacy with neighboring countries. China firmly supports Pakistan in safeguarding its independence, sovereignty, and territorial integrity. The two sides should accelerate the building of an even closer China-Pakistan community with a shared future in the new era, which will be a fine example for building a community with a shared future with neighboring countries.
