This piece about Sam Altman in the New York era is superb. Give it a read if you're into this sort of thing, I promise you won't be disappointed. Great read, slightly terrifying. Check out theronanfarrow's video! #TikTok vm.tiktok.com/ZNRqG1tYT/

@BelfastLive That's terrible, however it's difficult to have any sympathy after viewing the video. Maybe he'll not be so cocky and free with his mouth and fists now.

God help the people having to sit and go through the evidence in the murder of this beautiful baby, Preston Davey. I can not imagine the trauma they will go through - or the trauma this dear little boy endured. It's beyond comprehension 😭 💔

Hi everyone, I'm hoping for some help. In South Belfast we had two rewilded areas on a mile long strip of grass called the Annadale Embankment. The lawnmowers of Belfast City Council (@belfastcc) appear to have reclaimed these for the two weeks mowing regime. Not only have they been mowed bare again but the public employees spent time and money removing three tree stumps and even went so far as to cut away any small Holly bushes growing at the base of trees....all of which have now been sprayed with roundup at their bases. The range of wildflowers found on these places was fantastic and they were genuinely beautiful. I have been reliably told that the folk responsible hated these rewilded areas as a day on the ride on lawnmower is an easy day and that managers like it as it is an easy summer rota. So much good could be done by these public employees removing invasive species but instead public money (our bills went up again this year) is wasted and yet more fumes are pumped into the air. Believe it or not they even give the willow trees a hair cut every few years to keep them tidy. If you live in the area or even the city please email the councillors responsible for the area. The embankment spans two wards. Lisnasharagh and Botanic and he councillor emails are below. There is just one small area where mowing can be justified on this huge area. One where children play football from time to time and the very far end...that's it. Thanks everyone. We can actually make a difference to the environment.
