Dark (2017–2020) works because it treats time as structure rather than gimmick, every loop set up early and paid off later, and by the end it all closes with such precision it feels inevitable, a near perfect show.

I'm at that point where Requiem is a top three RE game for me. It's giving me everything I love about Resident Evil in one package. It's a greatest hits album in the best possible way. It's both survival horror and survival action at their most refined, and the pacing is perfect.
