It's so easy to take these at face-value and weaponize it for some agenda, and his replies are even more disingenous mentioning implications of Kalifa's 'sexual harassment' gimmick being a commentary on real-life false accusations. Interpreting it as such is moreso a reflection on the reader itself, speaking from a place of bad faith and blatant bias. There's some valid criticisms for Oda, but this isn't one of them.
