Editing Preview!! First ever project for Marvel Rivals’ Adam Warlock Voice Actor @jordanreyn and it’s already performing well on his TikTok and YT Shorts 🫡 Raw → Final edit

This past month, I’ve gained over 4,000 subscribers, averaged 100k+ views per short, and accumulated over 3 million views on my channel (and growing!) 🩸Here’s my advice if you want to pop off in 2026: - DISCLAIMER: these are what worked for me. Content isn’t one size fits all - DON’T be a vtuber. No, I don’t mean give up the model entirely- but consider making something besides your model the focus of your short form content. Some algos (cough clock app) specifically supress your discoverability BECAUSE of your model- i’ve had 2 accounts shadowbanned because of it. on top of this, some of your potential audience will scroll due to disinterest in vtubing as a topic. Instead, use emotes or memes! Try voice over or scripted content rather than clips! Get your audience interested in YOU and your content! (for storytime content this is different) START RIGHT NOW. learn to edit, or be prepared to drop alot of money. learning the program is the hardest part, but it gets easier as you go! your future self will thank you. DO RESEARCH. What do others that are successful within your niche do? What about outside of your niche? After you post, if it flops, don’t blame the algo or get discouraged. My manager once told me “just because it doesn’t perform well doesn’t mean it’s bad content.” Look at your stats- was your hook lacking? video dragging? with every failure, pinpoint 1-3 things you want to do differently next time! EXPERIMENT! while staying WITHIN YOUR NICHE, try different styles and focuses! see what sticks, and recreate that. for example, my videos with voice overs and voice acting perform on average better than gameplay clips alone. So i shifted my focus to that content, and my average views went from around 50k to over 100k per short! if you venture out of your niche, the algo won’t know who to push your content to- so whatever topic you choose, don’t stray from it. show PERSONALITY. If you’re doing scripted content, it can be easy to fall monotone. while monotone can be funny, whatever you do make sure you do it INTENTIONALLY. show people what makes you unique, what you have to offer- that’s how you’ll convert them into followers and regular viewers. make something only YOU can make! even if it takes time to figure out what that is, that’s okay. whatever you do, try not to sound like you’re reading off a script. if you can, GET HELP. Hiring a manager was one of the best decisions i made. at the time, i was deciding between hiring an editor to supplement my shorts while i focused on long form, or a manager to help me with strategy, advice, and accountability. Having someone holding me accountable to my commitments made me go from making excuses to consistently showing up. As a small vtuber, you’re likely your own content planner, editor, manager, and marketer on top of trying to stream. For most, that’s just too much on top of other life responsibilities. So if you really want to do this, get help! Invest in to yourself before you hope for anyone to invest in you. Don’t drop thousands on a nice model- put that into you and your content instead. Most important is to have fun! If you love what you do, it will show in your content- that’s what will draw people in! Best of luck to you all!
