Obi is not ready to give delegates money to elect him as the presidential candidate of a party. And he knows that if he goes for such primaries, he won't win. He wants to become president without inducing people financially. That's a man that wants to lead. Not oppress. End.

Too many universities are selling immigration, not education. Last year, about 250,000 foreign students took up taxpayer-funded student loans to pay for their courses in the UK, worth £4bn. This is not fair. A @reformparty_uk government will make sure that the British taxpayer is not paying for foreign students. Let’s put British students first.

Imagine lying this hard for clout. 💀 Reform is out here banning international students from loans they literally already cannot get. Whether you are French, Irish, or from Mars, you cannot just land in the UK and rinse the taxpayer. You have to prove years of residency first. In reality, international students are actually out here subsidising our entire uni system by paying triple fees and paying for the NHS upfront before they even get here. They are literally inventing fake problems to sell you fake solutions. It is embarrassing. 🤡#UKPolitics #StudentFinance #FactCheck

My One-Term, Four-Year Vow Is Sacrosanct One of the greatest American Presidents, Abraham Lincoln, served only four years, yet his legacy endures as a model of principled leadership. Another iconic figure, John F. Kennedy, did not even complete a full term, yet his vision and ideals continue to inspire generations. In Africa, Nelson Mandela, revered globally as a symbol of justice and reconciliation, chose to serve only one term as President of South Africa, despite immense public pressure to stay longer. His decision was a deliberate act of leadership, a statement that power must serve the people, not the self. Indeed, history shows that the longer many African leaders remain in power, the more likely they are to be corrupted by it. Longevity in office is not a mark of success; rather, it is purposeful, accountable service - however brief - that defines true statesmanship. It is within this context that I reiterate my vow: I will serve only one term of four years if elected President. And that vow is sacrosanct. I am fully aware that the decay in our society has made trust one of the scarcest and most sceptically viewed commodities. Many Nigerians, understandably, no longer take politicians at their word. But even in this climate of cynicism, there are still a few whose actions have matched their words - whose integrity is built on verifiable precedent. Recently, I became aware of two statements aimed, albeit indirectly, at my vow to serve only a single four-year term. One person remarked that even if I swore by a shrine, I still wouldn’t be believed. Another suggested that anyone talking about doing only one term should undergo psychiatric evaluation. I understand the basis of their scepticism. They are judging me by their own standards - where political promises are made to be broken. But they forget, or perhaps choose to ignore, that Peter Obi is not cut from that cloth. I have a verifiable track record that speaks louder than speculation. In my political life, my word is my bond. When I entered politics in Anambra State, I made clear and measurable promises to the people: to improve education and healthcare, to open up rural areas through road construction, and to manage public funds with prudence. I fulfilled each of those promises without deviation. I did not swear by a shrine, nor have I been certified mentally unstable as a result of honouring my word. My vow to serve only one term of four years is a solemn commitment, rooted in my conviction that purposeful, transparent leadership does not require an eternity. If making such a promise qualifies me for psychiatric evaluation, then we may as well question the mental fitness of those who framed our Constitution, which clearly stipulates a four-year renewable tenure. I maintain without equivocation: if elected, I will not spend a day longer than four years in office. In fact, I believe that service should be impactful, not eternal. We must rebuild trust in our country. I have dedicated my public life to demonstrating that leadership with integrity is not a myth. I have done it before, and I do not intend to betray that trust under any circumstances. Forty-eight months is enough for any leader who is focused and prepared to make a meaningful difference. In that time, I intend not merely to make an impression, but to deliver on concrete promises to: sanitise our governance system; tackle insecurity through effective and accountable use of national resources; prioritise education, healthcare, and poverty alleviation; catalyse small businesses as engines of growth ; and combat corruption with unflinching resolve. Above all, I will dedicate myself to transforming Nigeria from a consuming nation into a productive one, where agriculture, technology, and manufacturing replace rent-seeking and waste as our national anchors. These are not utopian dreams. They are realistic, actionable goals that are achievable within four years. A new Nigeria is POssible. -PO

So let me get this straight… A nurse in the UK 🇬🇧 earns ~£19/hour. An electrician earns £35–£50/hour. Yet the government wants to decide who is “skilled” based on RQF levels? Make it make sense. @ShabanaMahmood is pushing a system where your qualification level determines your pathway to ILR… Not your TAX contribution. Not your ECONOMIC value. Not your ACTUAL demand in society. Just paperwork. Meanwhile… The NHS is crying for staff. Care homes are collapsing. GP waiting times are a joke. But the same system is making it HARDER for the very people holding it together to stay long-term. Let’s talk reality: A UK-trained nurse with a degree = capped salary growth. A skilled tradesman without a degree = market-driven high income. So who is “low skilled” exactly? Compare this to 🇦🇺 Australia: Every extra certification = more pay. Clear progression. Skills are REWARDED financially. In the UK? You get more certificates… and still beg for band progression. And don’t even start with 🇺🇸 America… They don’t care what your RQF level is. They care what VALUE you bring. Tech, healthcare, trades ….if you’re useful, you EARN. The UK’s real problem isn’t migrants. It’s a system that: • Undervalues degrees • Underpays professionals • Over-regulates progression Then blames immigrants when things don’t work. If you want to fix immigration policy, fix the ECONOMY first. Make degrees lucrative. Reward specialization. Respect both academic AND trade pathways. Right now, the UK is doing neither properly… And that’s why the system feels broken. If migrants are such a “burden”… Why are they the ones filling your NHS shifts, paying taxes, and keeping services alive? Think.

While going to Kogi last week, our driver stopped along with other cars because no car was coming from the opposite direction. Apparently it’s a sign of danger. We waited for over 10 minutes before we saw a truck and two cars, that’s how we started moving again. I wish deth on anyone who supports this government, Nigeria has been totally ruined.
Nedu_🔥@Hhonor_

Abandoned cars line our highways, people left home only for them to end up in bushes. That was never their destination, some are never coming back. Nigeria how long? How long will we endure this? How long till we vote right? How long must we suffer?

The then kidnapped Chibok Girls under Johnathan were 276. Everyone wanted his removal. Under Tinubu, we have 416 people kidnapped in Borno & over 170 people kidnapped in Kwara. They’re all still under captivity and everything seems to be normalized. We can’t continue like this!

A private citizen gave 10X in one year more than the federal government. Quietly running a parallel government supporting education and health across the federation. This same private citizen keeps getting the stick from unfortunate scrapyard rats. His only crime is simple.
