My birthday was two weeks ago, and nobody got me anything. I wasn’t angry, because I genuinely wasn’t expecting anything from anyone. Would I appreciate receiving gifts on my birthday? Absolutely. Why? I’m not an ingrate — I appreciate anything given to me. But will I announce my birthday in advance just to get gifts from people? No. I believe this is the same for most men. Don’t be deceived: most women who make these kinds of posts aren’t doing so because they genuinely care about the man’s birthday or want to do something for him. They’re doing it because they know that a man who celebrates his birthday and “takes it serious” will likely take them out, and whatever he does to celebrate will benefit them too. I agree That’s a Global hit material but Fireboy deserves highest portion of the blame. He didn’t believe in what he did in the song so he dropped it as 2 singles pack with “Outside” then went ahead to push Outside and also gave it a video too. Crazy part is, Outside didn’t even make the album. Anyone that listened to Outside and Obaa Sima and decided Outside deserved to be pushed instead did a terrible job cos WTF?
