This is satellite view of my local Costco. Out of all the (highlighted) cars parked crooked or encroaching on the park lines only one is backed in. Also. The backed in cars are loading their purchases from the safety of the sidewalk. They aren't hindering the flow of traffic through the parking lot by pushing carts down the middle of the lane. They aren't loading purchases from the lane.
