@anton_pashkov03 Hi Anton! No, it’s made by modifying s in eq (5). This is the parameter that we shift :)

@ivan_mindlin Hi Ivan 👋 Great study, congrats 🥳 I have a quick follow-up question after reading the article: was the pharmacological stimulation done by changing the parameter γ in the equation (6) or was it done differently?

In conclusion, our in-silico representation of patients hints that healthy-like brain dynamics might be recovered from DoC models through pharmacological perturbations, especially via serotonergic and opioid receptors, offering mechanistic insights into their effects. (8/8)

Interestingly, these shifts did not correlate with the receptor's similarity to structural connectivity but with the overall density of the receptor map. 5HT-2A receptors were more sensitive to perturbations. (7/8)

🚨First PhD preprint 🚨Here we propose a methodology for pharmacological treatment development of DoC. Our model suggests that high density receptors like 5HT2A and 5HT1A are the optimal to recuperate healthy-like dynamics in a DoC model. biorxiv.org/content/10.110…
