Random thought- Does one farm more acres when they farm on terraces? Or even on a hill? I’m thinking so… think about it:
If you took a rope (in a field with a hill in it for example) and took it from one corner to another corner, laying it on the contour of the ground, cut it, and then laid that rope on a flat surface - would it not be longer than the distance measured from point to point via GPS?
