The annual RDS Music Awards are a series of cash prizes presented to emerging young musicians, enabling them to showcase their talent and assist them in taking their careers to the next level. Intended to support each winners’ artistic development in areas including touring and performing opportunities, artistic development, marketing, branding and purchasing new musical equipment. We are delighted to announce the winner of the 2024 RDS Music Bursary Award of €15,000 🏆 is Adam Buttimer. This prestigious award comes with two performance opportunities - one with the National Symphony Orchestra and one in the Centre Culturel Irlandais in Paris. The RDS Jago Award of €5000, the second prize in the RDS Music Awards Programme, was awarded to Ben Gannon. As part of this Award, Ben will have the opportunity to perform with RTÉ Concert Orchestra.
