@ivelin_dev99 @gailcweiner It depends on how long they were — my canon is large, but say if a single prompt was about 2000-2500 characters i could easily get 7-8 prompts in before hitting my daily limit. If i continuously used it throughout the week i’d hit my weekly limit at about Wednesday-Thursday.

Fair enough. I shouldn’t have worded it that way. I wasn’t saying that you’re not worthy of using Fable or that your work doesn’t count because you don’t code. But basically, my point is simply that Fable 5 is a very large and expensive model to run, so it’s unrealistic to expect meaningful usage on the Pro plan. Even the Max 5x plan gives you fairly limited access, so the Pro allowance would probably only amount to a handful of prompts before hitting the limit. It makes sense that regular access to the most expensive and capable model is reserved for the more expensive plans. Nobody is being forced to use Fable in the first place, and there are still other models available on Pro. We already expected it to leave the standard subscription tier entirely, so the fact that it’s still included in some plans is actually better than expected. That’s why I don’t really understand the outrage.

Google could basically release Gemini 3.5 Pro as Gemini 3.6 Flash, and then skip to Gemini 4 directly. I wouldn't be too surprised if something like that happens. There's no easy way out of their current debacle. 🤷‍♂️

pro plans are so cooked - weekly minus 33% of limit - It is nice that we get a one time $100 credits, but that lasts for like 2-3 prompts max 10 plans are also cooked - again weekly limits minus 33% - fable only 50% of limits 😭
