@farkas_leslie @dotjosh @MichaelPatak @iamJMinx Hmm.. leverage offered to people who want to learn and take it seriously is an impossibly good opportunity. This Same opportunity for me, is a death trap to degens. And they make a lot of money by offering it. I’m thankful they have the best risk tools in the business. By far!

@dotjosh @iworkinrisk @MichaelPatak @iamJMinx So, in essence you're saying that the so-called industry was built on degenerate behavior that was enabled by the aforementioned so-called prop industry and its founders who made a boatload of money off of degenerates? This from a company that trademarked the term Tilt???

@dotjosh If I can make a request, please add an option to lock my personal risk settings for an extended period of time. eg., 1 day, 1 week, 1 month, etc. This would help myself and many traders. @MichaelPatak

@farkas_leslie @MichaelPatak @iamJMinx @dotjosh true. but it's also true that they added trader friendly risk settings. maybe they prefer to make a lot of money by people learning responsibly and not getting filthy, dirty rich from degenerate behavior. just my guess.

@MichaelPatak @dotjosh Topstep being the FIRST firm to add trader risk settings is THE reason I came back to trading after taking a break. It is at the very TOP of reasons why I have ever taken any payout. Respect.

I've taken ~20k payouts from @Topstep from 2024-2026. The only online firm I've taken payouts from. I've documented my entire trading journey in a pinned thread. I'm very curious what my net is after costs. I did appear once on @TopstepTV in shame after blowing my accounts 2024

I'm trading very well lately. My numbers over many, many trades and over many, many days show that it's possible for me to be profitable over a long time horizon. Slow & steady. In trading, the tortoise always wins. Let's go!

Accounts blown. The 15k payout wasn't from good trading. I was sized up and taking too many trades (10-20+) per day. I've started again. Back to conservative slow and steady. My goal is to learn good habits that will translate directly to Live account trading, not sim farming
