$IXIOS Deposits and Withdrawls are now active on Coinstore. Please ensure if you make a withdrawl, that you use your *full Ixios address* as seen in IxiosSpark. Do not withdraw to a legacy address. For a guide on how to deposit IXIOS coins to Coinstore, see here: docs.ixios.io/ixiosSpark/tra…

Regardless of what the ETA to have a CRQC is we need to be prepared way ahead. Reaching consensus on what the best solution is requires time. Big companies, banks in general are upgrading to PQC. The *public* informations tell us QCs are a thing. What about the non public ones?

Quantum Computing is Bitcoin's biggest existential threat. We have a 12 month lead-time to solve it, once a solution has been selected. Which are we choosing?

We can now track all $BTC quantum vulnerable addresses as well as knowing why they are.
Project Eleven@projecteleven

Announcing: The Bitcoin Risq List v2 Last week, we introduced QuanBot (@quantum_tracker), a real-time way to see quantum-vulnerable Bitcoin moving across the network. This week, we’re zooming out. Instead of watching transactions as they happen, this tool gives you the full picture: every Bitcoin address that is already at risk. Back in January 2025, we launched version 1 of the Bitcoin Risq List. It was useful, but limited, closed source, manual, and slow. Today we’re releasing version 2. It’s: - Open source: the first open source tool of its kind. Anyone can inspect it, improve it, or repurpose it. Contributions welcome. - Automated: runs weekly, not manually. - Comprehensive: covers the entire Bitcoin network and all address types. - Transparent: explains exactly why an address is vulnerable. What you get: - A searchable database of every quantum-vulnerable address and its balance. - Clear reasons each address is at risk (key reuse, p2pk, partial spends, etc.). - A breakdown of total Bitcoin at risk by vulnerability type, covering historical data at 100k block intervals as well as weekly snapshots at the latest block height. - A time-series chart showing how the at-risk balance changes over time. You can look up your own address (or anyone’s) and see if it’s vulnerable to a quantum attack. (sorry @binance, @RobinhoodApp, @binance again, @bitfinex, @tether) Why this matters No more speculation about “how much Bitcoin is at risk”. With the Bitcoin Risq List, we can put real numbers behind it. And no scare tactics. Just clear info and real tools to keep your Bitcoin safe. This is the first open source attempt we’ve seen to systematically track Bitcoin’s quantum risk. If you care about the security of the network, this is your chance to get involved. Fork it, run it, add to it. LINKS BELOW 🔽🔽🔽

The Roadmap to Quantum-Resistance As the Ixios blockchain network continues to hum forward, let's review some of the key development steps required to achieve a truly quantum-resistant blockchain. Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC): All digital signatures must use PQC, such as CRYSTALS-Dilithium or SPHINCS+ Extended Address Format: Addresses must be sufficient size to achieve post-quantum security. Peer Discovery Protocol: The p2p discovery protocol must use PQC key derivation or signatures. Secure Key Management: Wallet encryption must not rely on encryption such as AES-128, and instead must use a quantum-safe alternative. With the foundational elements in place, we look ahead to the network's evolution.

Why Quantum Computing Threatens Current Cryptography In modern digital security, everything from online banking to encrypted messages relies on mathematical problems that are easy to do in one direction, but hard to reverse without a key. Two main systems used today are: RSA (Rivest-Shamir-Adleman): Based on the difficulty of factoring large numbers. ECC (Elliptic Curve Cryptography): Based on the difficulty of solving elliptic curve discrete logarithms. These systems are currently secure against classical computers, but not against future quantum computers. 1. Breaking Encryption: Shor's Algorithm Quantum computers can efficiently run Shor's algorithm. This means: RSA and ECC would be broken. Digital signatures used to verify identity and transactions, can be forged. Key exchanges used to start a secure connection, can be intercepted. Confidential data, like login credentials and encrypted messages, can be decrypted. This would undermine the entire security layer of: - Mobile banking - E-commerce platforms - Fintech services - Cryptocurrencies and blockchain applications 2. Retroactive Risk: Harvest Now, Decrypt Later Even though quantum computers aren't breaking encryption today, attackers can store encrypted data now and decrypt it later when quantum computers become viable. This is known as the "store now, decrypt later" attack. What’s at risk: - Personal emails and private messages - Health records - Financial transactions - Corporate secrets - Government communications In short, anything encrypted with classical encryption today, can be compromised in the future. 3. Blockchain Vulnerability Blockchains like Bitcoin and Ethereum depend on ECC for wallet security and transaction validation: Each wallet is tied to an ECC keypair. To spend or transfer funds, you sign transaction messages with the private key. A sufficiently large quantum computer could: Derive private keys from public keys Forge digital signatures Steal funds directly from wallets Why PQC (Post-Quantum Cryptography) Matters PQC is a new set of cryptographic algorithms designed to be secure against quantum attacks. These algorithms are based on mathematical problems not vulnerable to known quantum algorithms. PQC is still being standardized and adopted, creating a dangerous window of vulnerability.

Quantum computers will eventually break ECDSA. We don't know when that is going to happen. Nobody knows when a breakthrough comes into place, but when it does it will be chaotic.

@Tash899833 that’s the big question no one really knows this is a “national security” level question
