that’s why both are needed. healthy connections aren’t built only through words or only through actions, but through the balance of both. and honestly, this applies not just in romantic relationships, but in friendships and connections in general too 😁 gumorni, hapi sunday!

both can coexist tbh, and honestly they should. “never assume unless stated” is important because people aren’t mind readers, communication gives clarity, prevents misunderstandings, and teaches people to express things directly instead of expecting others to just figure it out

and i think relationships become confusing when one exists without the other. someone can say all the right words but never show up through their actions, or they can do caring things but never communicate enough to give reassurance and clarity.

but at the same time “actions speak louder than words” also matters because words can be said easily, while actions show consistency, effort, and intention : )
