The more pickleball events that are played indoor at quality venues, the more people will realize how superior indoors is. Just a matter of time. 💡

@federicostak @pickleball_jim Agree with Jim, free markets work only when there are no limits /restrictions to talent and experience and in this case both are important. It is really hard to watch MLP with such imbalances, and talent will be concentrated in a few teams. Owners will drop if they keep losing.

@pickleball_jim Don’t regulate the market Jim, the market regulate itself. I would get rid of the max the league has set on trades. Let owners spend as much as they want.

The NJ/Miami trade is not in the best interest of MLP and should be vetoed. A major problem with MLP is the talent disparity among the teams. Allowing a top 8 team to essentially buy a player from a bottom 8 team only exacerbates the problem. If you’re going to allow these kind of trades, then just cut down to 12 teams and be done with it.

@TweenerKing Paddles are important. They need to match your style of play. As you get better and develop new pickleball skills, you will need a different paddle to complement those skills.

@annabright108 @AshAshPB Not uncommon. Happens all the time in tennis. Zane played great in the first game and then he lost control. The same passing returns, were not working. I can see why he would be upset.

@AshAshPB I wonder at what point he was satisfied w the amount of anger he let out and it became a matter of pride that he had to dent the paddle in some way else look like a … softie

@MaggieMaeRem @Johnny5pointOH Agree. Majority of the players are seniors and there needs to be an effort from professional teams in MLP and PPA as well to promote the sport and their teams, with them, which is missing.

@Johnny5pointOH Definitely not a fad but I think we’re still away from having the kind of true global fan base tennis or other sports have which is required to scale the sport exponentially. I’d say the majority idc people at my local club have no idea who ANY pros are.
