labour shadow cabinet source just confirmed to me- THE POLICING BILL HAS BEEN DELAYED. not sure for how long yet but been told they (the govt) were taken back by the scale of the backlash. they had been ready to push through committee from mon. this is a huge victory.

Today's Police Bill is a form of state intimidation.

The #PolicingBill does more to protect statues of dead slavers than living women.
It criminalises Gypsy, Roma and Traveller communities.
It takes away some of the few means we have to challenge establishment power.
