@monequaque maybe he thought long and hard about the missing out on the first q3 flying lap scenario and came to the wrong conclusion... yea several misjudgements tbh

Summary is that he pretty much adapted to the brakes to the point that he thought he had more performance so he pushed on the banker too to see the limit. Still I think could've let go and pushed on the second lap more but ig because of extra deployment it got worse(!?)

“the q2 lap was really good. i think all corners were, we were the strongest on nearly (all corners) and turn four was the weakest, was the weak corner for me. so i released the brake and i think i carried quite a lot more speed in, which was okay in mid-corner, but i ended up on the dirtier part of the track and lost the car. but yeah, there's no excuses. it's a mistake.”

and still no clean weekend. guy needs to stop talking about perfect. stop thinking about the others. a driver drives for oneself okay? we can all walk away as we please. why care about us honestly. this is the mentality that got him to the renewal and this is what gets him stuck

on paper the past few weekends havent been disastrous but they felt like so (sorry Charles we are holding you to the standard of a champion ) need a clean weekend to turn it around.
