at first i was skeptical af. it didn't make sense at all to me. not the mid-promo disruption, not when enhypen was objectively on the way to the peak of their career. it felt so out of character for someone i've followed for the past 4+ years. but when the objective of the petition deviated from advocating for better artist management and transparency to boycott campaign against OT6, there was an undeniable shift in the fandom sentiment. i started questioning myself - whether i really knew him at all, what i was doing this all for. and i quickly realized that i needed to step back cuz i was making myself miserable due to uncertainty and my projections on him. establishing boundaries is important. you may think you love someone for who they are, but as an idol, the version of them presented to you has been crafted carefully. if you are not careful, you may end up falling in love with idea of them, and soon it'll become an obsession. you really don't know them personally at all: not their thought process, not their motive, not their beliefs. for fans who are a bit more grown up, i think you'll agree with me, that even the closest people around us may make decisions we don't understand, let alone an idol you adore from afar. once you set yourself free from expectations, and ask yourself again why you adored them in the first place, and whether you can continue supporting this version of them, you'll feel like a heavy weight has been lifted off your shoulder. for me, it feels a bit regretful that there was no proper goodbye (i still blame belift lab). and ngl, my fantasy was cracked a bit, but i really can't bring myself to hate him. i trust that he knows what is best for himself, and i hope he will never regret the path he chose. i know, some of you won't be able to forgive him for now. esp if your bias is another member who has been attacked for nothing due to the boycott. that's normal. but before uttering any hateful word against him, pls remember that he too has spent the past 5 years as an enhypen member. his dedication for the group was real, his bond to the members was authentic; which was the reason why we protested to get him back at the beginning. his departure doesn't change the fact that there was once a version of 7 which he poured his heart and soul into that you loved. the transition period was messy because of confidential agreements with different effective duration that we outsiders are not privy to. so don't blame him for things he cannot control. sorry if it feels like asking too much from you. but energy is limited, we shall spend our time and effort on uplifting OT6 and thinking of how we shall move forward. if it's too much for you, take a break from twitter, reconnect with nature / ur loved ones. and if you still cannot accept that it's going to be 6+1 from now on, stick with whatever version of enhypen that you can tolerate, but don't waste time hating HS / OT6 or trying to convince others. you will see them plenty soon, so make peace with your inner self and embrace the new normal.

again, respecting the 6 members and Heeseung's new paths doesn't mean i am no longer OT7. i will always yearn for my sevEN. I will always cherish all the good memories we had with them. i will still watch all those OT7 contents for comfort. I will support all seven of them
