Such a pleasure and honour to speak with the senior public education leaders of Western Australia at the WASSEA 2023 Conference in Perth! Thank you so much for the opportunity from fellow transhuman, Amanda Johnstone (hope you’re feeling better rested!) and Jane Rowland Smith at Ovations International with Ralph Gurr and the WASSEA team for making it all work out over the weekend!
The pace of innovation in AI and other emerging technologies is unlikely to slow down, and the current generation of students are already GPT-natives. Embracing it through discovery and iteration is how we could truly lead in a changing world. Can’t wait for the likes of Edchat to be trialled in WA and the other states!
Also great to catch up with AI leader Dr Alan D. Thompson as well as Joey and Aaron from EC by Go1 at the conference.

WASSEA conference is just around the corner!
It’s important for leaders to take the time to learn, reflect and connect with colleagues and our annual @WASSEALeaders conference is a great chance. Let’s see more secondary leaders taking this time!
