@CurtWilkerson_ Cal somehow earning redemption w/ 2 sweet 16's w/ Arkansas baffles me (lost UK this yr)....UNC/UK don't accept sweet 16 finishes...Cal was 1-4 in NCAA at UK his last 5 seasons...so 5-6 record since Covid (inc. Ark)...but honestly UK Covid team was playing well w/ Maxey/Quickley..

@koryhBBN i actually rooted for the kid and loved his game, would hate to see him leave, to uneducated fan i felt Pope gave him freedom most freshman off the bench don't get, but loud UK fans may be the worst, i believe our program is better without them!

Some fans do take things too far. However, this happens at every school in America. It’s going to happen to him in the pros. He didn’t perform as expected, whether that’s on him or Pope I guess we’ll know soon. No one is exempt from criticism.

This is the bad coaching people complain about with Pope. Kentucky comes out gunning. And for some god forsaken reason he subs out Otega and Zel. Then leaves Jasper in who is responsible for 6 points being scored already. Pope may be the worse game manager with a lead in a long time. You can’t sit back and extend the bench with a lead you stomp on their throat.
