Someone explain why Tr*mp can run for presidential office as a convicted felon, but millions of felons (most of whom are Black and brown people) cannot vote for the rest of their lives. Make it make sense.

Conversely, nearly 1/2 of white public school students attend schools where more than 75% of the student body is white. There is still a need for concerted efforts to dismantle school segregation and provide all students with truly equal educational opportunities.

One of the women walked out of the building behind me after we all got out of the elevator. I honestly contemplated letting the door shut on her face, but I don’t like that energy. Did she acknowledge this at all? No. Definitely not surprised this time.

@timlhawthorne It’s unreal. Faculty in Florida feel completely unsupported and exposed, since nearly every public institution caved under very little pressure. They, in fact, did most of the work of the State themselves.

JUST IN: The United States has dropped its first airdrop of humanitarian aid into Gaza as millions are facing starvation. According to NBC News, three military C-130 planes dropped a total of 66 pallets with 38,000 meals. Aid organizations however, say the airdrop is nothing close to the amount of food and supplies needed for people of Gaza. Ceasefire negotiations are currently underway as Biden faces fierce backlash.
