Ballpark yea Sometimes people share to tech, or something Recently someone made a post about 1000's of fake github accounts cloning people's repos and making fake updates on them every 2 hours And they all had Trojans ha This actually correlated sort of with the bounty I just turned into github So that post in particular actually strengthened my report 😌

I made a scheduled task for @grok Now they scrape the top 10 cyber reddit threads and email me a summary everyday at 10:30 am I read through it in between sets at the gym. This is basically how I start off every day.

Pretty big memory leak inside of #Hytale 🚨 Inside of PluginBase there is a list called shutdownTasks, this is used by all plugins, including the core plugins like the NPCPlugin. The NPCPlugin registeres EventViews for each world but doesn't remove them when a world is unloaded. The event handlers hold references to the EventView which holds the World, preventing the world from being garbage collected when unloaded resulting in RAM growing until an OOM happens. This mainly affects servers which rely on heavy world usage like minigames or skyblock servers. I have linked a fix using mixins in the replies. @slikey @Simon_Hypixel

@Simon_Hypixel is there any future where Hytale's server code would be open-sourced so that forks and modifications could be made alongside the work that the Hytale team is doing? Id love to dive into fixing stability issues but it's hard when relying on decompiled server code

@HytaleModding @pxl_panda Just launched HyUI today, a library to manage Hytale interfaces a lot easier. It uses a component-based event-driven system similar to what we see with modern web tech. Posted some demos and a link to use it on my profile!
