I drive 20 miles a day minimum for work anything else is extra. Do people not realize America is fucking massive and not walkable except for about 2 cities in the United States…

Gas is $3.50/gallon.
To fill my 16-gallon minivan = $56/tank
Say I fill my tank 1x/week = $2,912/year
That’s then just for me & the kids to get around.
Double it to add my husband’s car = $5,824/year.
This is all on the conservative/lower end of things.

Right yeah. I don't really care what colors my kids prefer. And once they show a preference I mostly enable it by just getting them more stuff of that color. Because it doesn't really matter. But I do think my daughter liked pink a lot before going to school. Slight evidence it's innate

Had a dream that Apple released a 32-inch MacBook, called the MacBook Pro Ultrawide, and it looked like this. I bought one and unlocked extreme productivity but then it wouldn’t fit into my backpack, so I had to leave it behind.

movies are almost all bad, so one neat thing about them is you can just not watch them. i've just not watched nearly every movie that's come out over the last 10 years!
