@0xSriLanka @ryancarson @manifoldxyz I think it's that eip 2981 has the same problem, marketplaces can avoid royalties and buyers will move there. It's not a counterpoint or a confirmation, just pointing out it's not a complete solution

@ryancarson As a web3 dev, I see this move by Opensea as a desperate attempt to block their competition from participating in an open web3 ecosystem. If any marketplace is sincere about royalty, they would strengthen EIP 2981 and adopt @manifoldxyz on-chain royalty registry.
